The largest island of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI). Saipan is a US territory neighboring Guam. With a length of about 12 miles and 5.6 miles in width, compared to the place where I came from, Davao City (philippines), Saipan is relatively very small.

This precious island had had her fair share of history. Chamorros and Carolinians are the native people of this island but it is populated by a bunch of ethnic groups from Americans to Asians and some Europeans.

Since the garment factories shut down, Saipan's economy rely so much on tourism. Saipan is a tourist haven. Its unspoiled beaches, animal sanctuaries, preserved nature, and fair weather had attracted tourists from all over the world. With a laid-back atmosphere and fresh tropical breeze, Saipan is truly a great island paradise.
