There are pathways here in Saipan dedicated for walking, biking, jogging or a place just to hang out. Saipan Beach Pathway that runs along the Beachroad on one side and the long stretch of Garapan Beach on the other, offers a great view for the people using the pathway. Along the way, you can meet people walking with their dogs, people just trying to unwind, and health ethusiasts walking or jogging alone, in pairs, groups, or with their children. And on the beach there are people carrying their fishing rods, having a swim or going for a SCUBA dive.
The pathway also features some remains of the war, the Battle of Saipan during World War II. Remnants of battle tanks and some piece of historical relics were displayed along the route.
During the second quarter of the year, the lush greenery of the flametree on the prior months undresses and turns into a splurge of red orange flowers giving a bright fiery appearce of the trees which seem to light the road.
There are kiosks built on the pathway that can hold family gatherings and parties. It is located along the beach so anyone can just take a plunge in the water whenever they want to. And because it is located on the west side of the island, there's always a possibility of having a glimpse of a dramatic sunset.
