MAÑAGAHA

This island with a wide area of white sand is a constant tourist destination. With a short trip via ferry boats or an adventurous speed boats, there are lots of things anyone can do in this little precious jewel of Saipan. Common activities aside from swimming involve banana boat riding, parasailing, jet skiing, snorkeling, and more. This islet is so small that it would only take about five minutes to walk around the whole island, but the small size only highligted the beauty of Mañagaha. Although no one resides in the island, Mañagaha features a restaurant and establishment to attend to the tourists' needs.

Mañagaha is a bird and marine life sanctuary and if there's one thing not to be missed to do while having an escapade in the waters of this tiny island, it is snorkeling. The clean water is a home to a variety of fish which displays an array of colors. An underwater camera would be of good use if you have one.

Mañagaha is burial ground of the famous Caroline Islands Chief, Aghurubw, a momument was built in honor of the chieftain. And like a lot of place here in Saipan, the island is a display of history of the War. Around the island, you can see remains of the Ship wreck and old cannons and weapons used during the battle.
