TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

Aside from beautiful beaches which Saipan has a lot of, the island offers a few more. Saipan possesses historical and natural wonders which the government preserve to attract visitors. There are also establishments in the island that lure tourists and locals alike. These are some of tourists' favorite destinations:

BANZAI CLIFF,  offers a scene where the deep blue pacific ocean meets the lower part of the cliff. This is also one of the sites where mass suicide jump of the Japanese happened, during WWII.

BIRD ISLAND, this picturesque tiny islet is a bird sanctuary. From a view deck situated on the cliff, a clear sight of the natural wonder of this island can be seen. Binoculars could be of a good use.

SUICIDE CLIFF, a historical saite. During the last days of the Battle of Saipan  in World War II, this was one of the sites where over 10,000 Japanesecivilians  took their lives by jumping off the cliff.

 GROTTO, a site for SCUBA diving. It's like a deep pool of seawater hidden in the cave separated from the sea by a wall, the cliff. The water  can be accessed about more than a hundred steps down.

GALLERIA, Duty Free Shop houses some of the world's famous designer items like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Cartier, Chanel, Tiffany & Co., Bvlgari, Hermes, Christian Dior to name a few.
